Winter Lanterns ... Found photos!

I took part in a project in Edinburgh as part of a centre for adults with learning difficulties, back in the early 90s, and as well as working along side the users, produced a lantern panel of my own ...



the images were projected onto cotton using photographs we took on each other, and then we used batik to create the colourful images ...


That's me on the right, just a wee slip of a girl back then!

This time it's personal ...

I am rather partial to a spot of hand embroidery on a Saturday afternoon ...



and i made these 2 very special lables, and some thank you cards to go with them ...



special button-jointed rats for a special thank you ... for working hard to save abandoned pet rats and help them find new homes!
