Artwey 2010 update - the middle weekend ....

some pics from the middle weekend of artwey open studios 2010 ...

the raggy rats would love to see you this weekend if you can come ...

molly the barn owl likes the attention, too ...

you can take home a molly or other soft toy card, of help your self to some cards and badges or other plush team members ...

we have already enjoyed lots of lovely visitors ... sign the guest book, too please !

some happy little girls play in my garden ....

meet some bunnies ... maybe have a cup of tea?

sweetie the rat might also get out of bed and say hello to you ...

see you saturday? cat xxx

a dapper ratty ....

a handsome dude - i really love his buttons!

he has his own back pack, which has a pull cord to close and a dot of velcro ...

and he is ready to go out ....

Artwey 2010 - an international celebrity opens my porch!

so here we were on a rainy Saturday ... Elton John ready with those plush scissors I made ...

Elton is really Ed Hintze, and Cat has probably heckled him too many times at choir practice ... the neighbours are suitable shocked!

some one steps in, and finally Elton attacks the pink ribbon, for Steve's camera ...

It takes quite some time to cut through it ...

And its OPEN, after Eltons lovely speech ...

and the crowd rush in ....

to fondle my 'art for the hands' mats ...

say hello to molly the owl ...

choose some colourful and reasonable priced cards ...

and enjoy a little SPICE!

Artwey 2010 opens today!

altho i wont be a lobster today, i will be manning my Artwey 2010 open studio event ...

perhaps you already have your Artwey map, and saw last weeks Dorset Echo magazine? That lobster stunt seems to have worked out well for advertising!

Here is the bit on the Artwey map showing dear Molly owl, and my venue ...

you can grab a PDF file of the 2-sided map from artwey.co.uk ...

and i have some new pieces on display at the Brewers Quay, one of these little chaps sold at the private view last night!

and if you visit me at 10.30 today you are up for a rare treat, as Ed Hintze opens my porch to the general public and fans of the Raggy rat!

Plus - listen out for my radio interview on WESSEX FM news!

tiger tiger ....WIP - better shaping - ready for fur?

tiger with a toupee, that's not right ...

I dig this little toy from Mary's animal tin, he looks a bit cheesey but he helped me with the head shape ...

although, after looking at it again ...

i had to lift up the ears a bit!

better!
ear furring next, perhaps!

bad boys? come and see them in my artwey venue this week ...
