WIP - molly the barn owl ...number II ...

i shape the barn owl face with needle sculpting using strong thread ... can you see the shape appearing? the lovely dense fur I am using here looks like fine feathers ...



next, insert the glass eyes ...
it looks cute even jyst like this, with no beak!



and here is molly the barn owls face, complete with some shading ...



and wings are added too, with button joints ...



she is looking very cute already ... legs and feel next ....

MISSING - Has anyone seen my ears?



just kidding, this is actually a whole missing dog, featured in the Dorset echo ...

Now its time for me to do some drawing again, this little girl is called Mika ...



i start by putting all the black areas in ...



It makes a change from all that sewing (and cooking!)

my Mam came down to weymouth to visit us ... of course, Eric came too. Here he is, as Grandad with my girls...
