the best of dorset !
despite lack of sleep, and feeling full of cold still, i have steamed myself ready to take to the stage again today, the pavillion here in weymouth no less, as Dorset for singing are counted among the best of Dorset!
here is an advert i spotted in the Dorset Echo, and Ed Hinze our choir master is performing his own slot too. have you ever read my other blog? potter over to http://www.dorsetforsinging.co.uk and have a read. or maybe join us?
sorry the blog has been a bit quiet. as well as working towards thursdays choir concert i have also had a poorly baby at home, twin runny noses, and picked up some foth ebugs myself. poor mary has ended up on antibiotics, which she hates.

zoo for you!
i thought you might like to look at this wonderful work
a zoo made by children at the new yeovil HEC where i went with steve and the girls on friday ...the vulture and the siver backed gorilla show great use of fursuit fur scraps, and what a great face that bear has ...
next time we go, i will share some information on working with clay so that hopefully we dont have so many injured animals that we found this week! i might also do some sewing, of course !

my first fursuit .... here he is!
although today it is snowing and slushy, and my todders are pressed to the windows, yesterday was fresh and sunny, just the right kind of weather for taking pics of the finished mouse fursuit... finished that is, apart fromt a set of whiskers ...but i did make the photo deadline and will also make the friday one for words and pictures sent to Rat and Mouse magazine ... phew !
does this make me an official fursuiter?
should i accept more commissions?
have you enjoyed following the proggress of this huge mouse?
i think i have, as a soft-toy maker i have certainly picked up lots of new skills and improved my sewing...
