and here is my 30 week baby belly ... and thats not a bad self-timer pic, i always look like i am worried the pic wont come out LOL !!!
after this pic i boxed up the parrots and put the girls in the car to get to the post office ... car started making funny noise, so turned radio off ... kept drivng carefully and noise started to sound rubbery .... made the desition to drive to PO ( and local shops) where i could get help and facilities for me and the girls, and after my call to the RAC, martin turned up just as i stepped out of the post office with the reciept for the parrots in my hand!
still driving round on funny wheel, kwikfit didn't have any in our size ...

Fabulous parrot - I knew it would look great! Bet they like it. Funny that - I am visiting Kwikfit in about 10 minutes - my car started making a funny noise yesterday and a very expensive catalytic converter noise it was too...sob!
Kat, the parrot is beautiful! You are an amazinly talented person. I love the way you show your idea and research sketches in your blog. I should do that more.
Your girls are darling too!
I've been looking forward to seeing Perch, and he is terrific! I like the way the feathers are done with ruffley fabric :)
I guess the next 10 weeks are going to fly by!
Perch is so pretty! I am much impressed. Oddly enough I too am due a Kwikfit visit - for brake pads - myself.
Wow, fantastic parrot Kat, aren't you creative.
Warm wishes
Pauline
Perch is simply fabulous!!! LOVE his name and he himself is just magnificent!!
As a former puppetmaker and puppeteer I have to tell you your parrot is spectacular! I love the colors you chose and by the looks of the children's faces in the newspaper clipping, it was adored by everyone. Well done!
