Some fun hamsters I will be exhibiting with Artwey starting this weekend at the Old Town Hall ...

Hamster Time!

You can catch these Cuties in my Etsy shop! I enjoyed having them in Cat's Porch as part of Artwey Art trail  but now they want  to be off ... there are four Hamsters left now.

I will be taking these to the Dorset Womens Day 2012 -Saturday 28th April, where I will have a stall and also be running a sock-monkey workshop too!

Today I made a pile of presents!

After bedtime and ready for tomorrow morning...two very special girls will be 6 years old!



And I also worked on some hamsters, ready for all the events I have got lined up!

Round up ...

some woolly hamsters shuffled through the stormy weather into my shop ... they chose calmer day to sit on my garden (but they did blow over!)



It doesn't matter if its cold or wet, there will always be rainbows here, and matty has even given me a lovely mug of hot chocolate!

granny bought the girls a box of boot-sale cars for christmas, among them this green one which has a motor and off set wheels so it almost walks too, and can even climb a bit ... diasy likened it to a hamster and it gave me an idea so i reached for the screwdriver!


mohair, beads, felt and hot glue and hamster-car was born!


daisy played with it all afternoon! today it has been riding on a break-down lorry. as a passenger, it isnt broken down !

this is a pattern i have tweaked, bur originally came up with when my eldest was 2 years old, it involves a simple shape but some careful needle sculpting which i really enjoy ...
