Edward's Eyes ...

...are carefully needle felted, as i try and minic the idea that he is a china rabbit and would have his eyes painted on ...

therefore I paint with my needle until everything to the tiny highlight is complete, and then his character starts to really shine!

...even though his eyes are not shiny ... and his muzzle and mouth, well that's needle sculpting!

jess, the muppet doll....WIP

Muppet Jess is getting some eyes - I started with the whites, and just popped in some pins so she didn't look too strange!

she also has 2 special tattoos, just like real Jess does!

I think she looks very happy !

Little Edward - a 15 inch Edward Tulane Doll...

edward, waiting for his paws to be pulled (with thread) and a coat...

And here he is ready for the big wide world, complete with whiskers and his satin lined coat ...

fairly new to needle felting, I love it and enjoy creating his eyes, which were only white orbs of wool in my last post about this little rabbit!

in this pick I tried to give Edward the same dreamy look he wears on the cover of the book, where he sits on the shelf waiting for some one to come in a buy him ...
