louise is 5, and thinks summer might be a bit scratchy !
dear summer ferret died in her sleep, in her hammock last night...
she was possibly 8 years old, since i rescued her and she had been a stray .... such a sweet ferret to have been found wandering, loving and licky all her life .... good bye summer XXXXX

Oh that's so sad! Hope you give him/her a nice 'funeral', like we always used to do with our animals when they died..
Sorry to hear that - horrible to lose a pet, especially one that's been with you for a long time.
