Feeling like a sloth, on a rainy day in July?

So the fuzzies went on a walking with bio-father, and mummy was left with all the baby sitting. Mary left instructions for specific toys, Matty texted to ask if hers were ok, and when I looked at Daisy's collection of favourites I saw that her newest toy had a note for me and Mike ...

I love him so much I desided to ask daisy if we could collaborate on a little project. She thought that was a fabulous idea so on a wet Saturday I had my paints out. Some of the paints pre date all my children. 

Eventually, layering paint and chalk, tracing and collating and embellishing just a little, a new sloth was born.

I'm going to varnish him tomorrow when the PVA is really dry and then I'll hang him up. I can't wait for daisy to see him! But then, I shouldn't try to hurry things. After all, a sloth knows how to chill...

The girls and I have been collecting colours for a fun collage project!



We are working together and the colours are red white and blue!

these amazing body parts were made and sent to me by Rowan of OUT OF THE FRAME, fame! i was impressed, i cannot crochet, or knit ...



so i took some of the green fur Christina Ward sent me,some of Rowans scraps and while eating her candy with the fuzzies came up with this ...



The children named her Ingrid Monster, Ingrid Ennerver, to use both her names ...

a fabric collage and machine embroidery number for our numberless house ... louise drew a big number 1 and coloured it in, and also designed a border and then traced it onto muslin for some sticking of different colours and textrues of fabrics ... i machined all over it then cute out round louises lines and machined to some cream fabric ... (the muslin we worked on get puckered)

we might take commisions .... :-)

i can't put my clay 'number 1' that i made while pg with the girls on the house, as the pointing needs doing soon - sea winds and all that .....

... although he is not finnished as he needs a little more input from 'me', and now the seafest is done and dusted (apart from the matter of a large cheque), i can work on cute again, yippeeee!
