cute, pink, monster back-pack ...

some things have to stay off the web until the surprises have been received!



Like this back pack I made for one of my childrens' very good friends...



yesterday we all went to celebrate at coolplay, and a cheeky, pink monster came too!

he has his own back pack, which has a pull cord to close and a dot of velcro ...



and he is ready to go out ....

a rat's belly full ...

i made the first raggy rat bag in 1998. character bags were a bit of the thing then, and i was asked to make a rat. i was careful to include lots of room, and i did get some good feedback about this at the time.

here is my rat bag, with a belly full ...




i fitted in 2 paperback books, my 'plush team' water bottle, a huge fat, camera and hubby's wallet. there was also room for my phone, but it was busy taking these pictures !




hmm, not much sewing going on around here - but the good news is hamster-car has arrived safe and sound in california, more news on him soon xxx
