WIP - fursuit tiger head getting ready to fur ....

the long fur in the ears and on the bottom jaw will need trimming and shaping ...

sweet cuteness from odd sock and scraps ...

hello - i was once an odd sock ....



i also have odd arms, because, well that's the way i fitted into one sweet sock ...



i was made during a quiet bit of Artwey, and now I rather fancy a spot of exploring ...



do you like my tactile tail and my buttons joints?
my tiny arms are string jointed ...



i am posing on the concrete base all set for Steve's new shed ... where can it be?

tiger tiger ....WIP - ears!

its takes 12 small pieces of fur to make 2 tiger ears ...



here they are on the head, the fuzzy things are black pipe-cleaners that I am using to facilitate some expression ...



to have also painted inside the eyes to change the blue foam to black where it might well be seen ...

Artwey 2010 - an international celebrity opens my porch!

so here we were on a rainy Saturday ... Elton John ready with those plush scissors I made ...



Elton is really Ed Hintze, and Cat has probably heckled him too many times at choir practice ... the neighbours are suitable shocked!



some one steps in, and finally Elton attacks the pink ribbon, for Steve's camera ...



It takes quite some time to cut through it ...



And its OPEN, after Eltons lovely speech ...



and the crowd rush in ....



to fondle my 'art for the hands' mats ...

Artwey 2010 opens today!

altho i wont be a lobster today, i will be manning my Artwey 2010 open studio event ...


perhaps you already have your Artwey map, and saw last weeks Dorset Echo magazine? That lobster stunt seems to have worked out well for advertising!

tiger tiger ....WIP - better shaping - ready for fur?

tiger with a toupee, that's not right ...



I dig this little toy from Mary's animal tin, he looks a bit cheesey but he helped me with the head shape ...

although, after looking at it again ...



i had to lift up the ears a bit!
